FAT DISSOLVING
ELIMINATE THAT STUBBORN FAT!!
ARE YOU STRUGGLING WITH BODY FAT THAT WON’T SEEM TO SHIFT WITH DIET OR EXERCISE
WE HAVE PLACES ON OUR FACE AND BODY THAT SOMETIMES NEED A LITTLE BOOST WITH FAT BURNING AND THAT’S EXACTLY WHAT FAT DISSOLVING DOES!!
WHAT IS IT?
Fat dissolving injections are non-surgical cosmetic treatments designed to reduce unwanted fat in specific areas of the body, such as the stomach, thighs, and hips. They work by breaking down fat cells (adipocytes) using a solution that often contains deoxycholic acid, which destabilizes fat cell membranes. These injections are effective for eliminating stubborn fat deposits but are not intended for overall weight loss. They serve as an alternative to liposuction and are particularly useful for body sculpting in localized areas resistant to diet and exercise.
AFTERCARE
- Avoiding strenuous activities and exercise for a few days.
- Applying cold compresses to reduce swelling and discomfort.
- Wearing compression garments, if recommended, to support the treated areas.
- Maintaining a healthy lifestyle to optimize and maintain the results.
- Drinking at least 2 litres of water a day
PROCESS
During the procedure, the injections are carefully injected into the targeted areas, such as under the chin (submental fat) or love handles, inner thighs and belly. The injected solution disrupts the cell membranes of fat cells, causing them to burst and be metabolized by the body over time. This procedure takes around 30 mins depending on the area that we are covering.
The treatment area is cleaned, and sometimes a topical numbing agent is applied to minimize discomfort.
- The specialized solution is carefully injected into the predetermined areas.
- After the injections, the area may be massaged to optimize the distribution of the solution.
- The entire procedure usually takes around 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the number of areas being treated.
It is important to note that fat dissolving injections are not a substitute for weight loss methods, and they are most effective for contouring and sculpting specific areas of the body.
Following the procedure, it is common to experience swelling, bruising, and tenderness in the treated areas. These side effects usually subside within a few days to a week.
